Scratch-Off World Map Poster

Staying in the theme of world maps is this very cool scratch-off world map. Now, if the bilingual mamas in your life (or you, mama, if you’re shopping for yourself) don’t travel much, this may not be the right gift.

If travel is on the bucket list, though, this world map needs to be in your home. Mama isn’t the only one who will like this gift–the kids will like helping with the scratch-off part too!

This poster comes in the extra large size of 22.375 in. x 34 in., but if you need a different size, there are a variety on Amazon to choose from.

Kindle Paperwhite E-Reader

No bilingual mama should be without a Kindle Paperwhite E-Reader for all the multilanguage reading material she can get her hands on.

E-Readers have come a long way since they were first introduced. This one holds charge exceptionally well, it doesn’t have an annoying glare in the sun, it’s light to hold, and it’s friendly on the eyes at nighttime.

Choose from black or white, and don’t forget that Amazon Prime members read free with unlimited access to over 1,000 titles.

Smart Language Translator Device

So…it’s here. The technology to intertranslate more than 34 languages in real-time. So far, this product has 3.9 stars (out of 5) after only three reviews, which isn’t bad.

Love or hate the idea, the product is touted as being helpful for language learning. We’ve never used anything like this before, so we’re not sure exactly how well it works. Seems fun to play around with though.

This device requires the iTranslate app and internet access in order to work.

Magnetic Language Poetry Kit

We’ve had our eye on this Magnetic Poetry Kit for a long time now. It comes in eight languages for adults (Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Hebrew Alphabet, Italian, Swedish, and Norwegian) and three for kids (Spanish, English, and Chinese).

The box includes over 500 magnetic titles, great for poetry, messages to kids or a partner, and more. We’ll take any opportunity to model fun language learning activities in front of the kids, so this should definitely be a kitchen staple (on your refrigerator).

The kit is Amazon Prime eligible.
